Wednesday May 12, 2021
Video Game Zombies have been changing. We've noticed how horror movies and games have advanced zombies through many different iterations from the classic slow and shambling Romero zombies to the fast paced and sprinting 28 Days Later and World War Z zombies! Today on episode 111 Hazz & Jordan are discussing the best way zombies have been used in gaming as not only enemy types like we see in Left 4 Dead and Dead Rising but also as puzzle elements like in the early Resident Evil games. Zombies have been used to scare us, drive us forward and to show us the true nature of people when broken down to their base instincts... will the Burrito Bois survive?

Video Game Nostalgia Goggles | Grief Burrito Gaming Podcast
Wednesday Apr 21, 2021
Wednesday Apr 21, 2021
Can nostalgia for retro video games skew how they're received by modern gamers?
This week on the Grief Burrito Gaming Podcast Hazz and Jordan have decided to sit down to discuss whether video game nostalgia goggles are actually a thing. Can your memories of a video game make you hold it in higher regard than it would if someone was to play it for the first time?
For Episode 108 Hazz reached out through our Reddit, our Twitter and through Facebook to talk to our communities to get their opinions on their retro gaming memories. Particularly looking back at the first iterations of 3D Zelda games like Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask after playing The Legend of Zelda Breath of The Wild. Especially if the Nintendo Switch titles was your first Zelda title.

Wednesday Apr 14, 2021
Street Fighter The Movie is iconic. Revolutionary. Or is that just Raul Julia?! Starring Jean Claude Van Damme this tongue in cheek action comedy based of the worldwide phenomenon Street Fighter is full of weird lines, strange moments, $10k worth of cocaine per week and from what we could see exactly zero street fights! This week on Episode 107 Hazz and Jordan are joined by Trevor from Catching Up On Cinema to "Review" Street Fighter The Movie! We're almost hesitant to call this a review and call it a retrospective instead as the bois get so caught up in the hype that the usual format has been hadoukened right out of the window. Enjoy!
